HSE-Q: our priority, every single step

EPS believes business can only be conducted by promoting and protecting the health of everyone involved in its projects and by preventing risks to the environment. Health, safety, environment and quality are not a department — they are how the company works.

Our approach

Four pillars of safe, compliant execution

Safety and quality are engineered into EPS work from the first document to the last site activity — through the four pillars below.

Procedures and processes

Documented procedures and processes govern how work is planned, executed and verified — giving clients traceability and consistency across home office and site activities.

Risk analysis

Systematic risk analysis identifies hazards before they become incidents. At engineering stage this includes structured techniques such as HAZID, HAZOP and QRA; during execution, it means ongoing assessment of site risks.

Bridge documents

Where EPS works within a client's management system, bridge documents merge the client's standards with applicable authority requirements — so there is one clear, agreed set of rules on every project.

Authority requirements

Compliance with the requirements of relevant authorities is built into project planning and execution, from permitting through handover.

Quality management

A documented quality management system

EPS operates a documented quality management system covering its engineering, project management, manpower and training activities. Quality requirements are applied to deliverables, personnel selection and project reporting alike.
